About us
The problem
The problem stems mainly from the fact that teachers lack knowledge related to copyright law and
the use of intellectual property of others as their own. On the other hand, students should be aware of
the IP regulation as schools repeatedly publish their work without permission. Especially when it
comes to STEAM-related subjects, IP provides a totally different vision into creative work with respect
to private intellectual property and its availability in public.
The solution
The project aims at supporting K-12 teachers incorporate Intellectual Property (IP) in education in
order to embrace IP strategies in innovative concepts related to STEAM subjects. The goal is to tackle inadequacies in the preparation of students participating in the
creative processes of STEAM innovations by highlighting the importance of IP
Rights.
